Olly Murs rose to fame as a contestant on The X Factor in 2009. Since then, he has released a number of albums and worked as a coach on The Voice UK. The star has recently got into incredible shape – how did he do it?
“This week was truly incredible, we arrived Saturday at this retreat and had no idea what to expect but wow did it deliver.
“Surrounded by people all here on a journey ready to Juice cleanse and detox the body for 7days!
“Sounds crazy having no food for 7days but wow just wow! I feel amazing.. I feel alive and why is that… cos the food I was putting into my body made me feel Alive!
“Thanks @jasonvale for your advice and energy and for letting us come over! An absolute legend and thank you for a truly memorable time! That I know, I won’t forget (sic).”
Another recent Instagram upload showed him standing in the gym showing off his toned arms.
It read: “Murs 2.0 is coming.”
When he first slimmed down, Olly had the help of a personal trainer who documented his progress on Twitter.
The trainer Rob Solly shared transformation pictures of Olly before and after his 12 week training programme.
The singer was notably slimmer as he bared his six pack abs in two mirror selfies.
Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O show in 2015, he said he ditched sugar to get into shape.
Olly told the presenters: “When I started to train I just cut out chocolate and anything sugary out of my diet and it just fell off.
“The weight just fell off me, which was amazing … It’s quite easy [losing weight]. It’s been a lot of fun and I’ve enjoyed it.”
