I’m A Celebrity viewers were left irate after Roman Kemp’s bridge reunion with his loved ones wasn’t shown on Sunday night’s finale. The celebrities usually have at least one guest to greet them when they cross the bridge, while being snapped by photographers as they leave the jungle for the final time.
But the show seemed to have skipped Roman’s reunion altogether and it didn’t go down well with fans.
They were quick to hit out at ITV bosses for missing a significant part of the celebrity’s exit.
Viewers were eager to see what friendly face was waiting to greet the 26-year-old as he left the Australian wilderness, but alas, the moment never came.
Instead, the emotional greeting was skipped, as camera’s cut back to the outback studio with hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.
Fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment, with one viewer saying: “@romankemp was robbed of the crown and we were robbed of seeing him reunite at the end of the bridge. So proud though.”
A second snapped: “Well who met roman then? Why didn’t we get to see who met him? Fuming.”
“Why didn’t we see who got @romankemp at the end of the bridge,” a third asked.
“Omg I’m even more angry we didn’t see reunite with his girlfriend at the end of the bridge, why why would they do this to me #ImACeleb “, another blasted.
Someone else quizzed: “No one on the bridge to meet Roman!!!”
Others wanted to see the star’s famous dad Martin Kemp, bassist in the band Spandau Ballet, join him on the bridge.
Roman talked about his family a lot in camp, which left viewers wondering whether Martin would make an appearance for his exit.
An angry viewer commented: “My mum proper p****d off that she didn’t get to see Martin Kemp on @imacelebrity meet @romankemp on the bridge, think she’s waited 3 weeks for that.”
Someone else said of Roman’s girlfriend meeting him after he crossed th bridge: “Imagine not showing Sophie greeting @romankemp at the end of the bridge wtf!?”
Before he exited the jungle for good, Roman joined Ant and Dec in the studio for his exit interview.
He seemed disappointed he didn’t make it to the final two, and admitted he was “sad” he didn’t win the crown.
But still in high-spirits, the DJ said: “I couldn’t be more grateful, seeing you two every day is like a dream!”
The radio presenter insisted that he “couldn’t be happier” for Jacqueline Jossa, who was later crowned 2019 Queen of the jungle and Andy Whyment, who was runner-up.

When asked whether he thought it was “the best experience of his life,” he replied: “100 percent, without a doubt. I’ve never had more fun, I’ve never had so much emotion.”
After the main show aired it’s final scenes, Roman appeared on Extra Camp where he was shown a surprise video message from his dad and mum Shirlie.
In the clip, his mum said: “We are so proud of you. You’ve made us laugh, cry, you’ve just been incredible!”
Martin gushed: “It’s been the best television experience of my life.”
The fan fury came just days after A-lister Caitlyn Jenner’s exit reunion also wasn’t shown on the show, leaving fans “worried” and “upset” that the 70-year-old had no one to greet her when she finished her stint in the jungle.
But it has been revealed that ex-England rugby player James Haskell, met her at the end of the bridge after her elimination.
Caitlyn’s big-hearted camp-mate knew that her partner, Sophia Hutchins, had not yet landed in Australia and wanted to make sure that someone was there to greet her when she crossed the famous bridge.
Viewers were left in tears when Caitlyn looked disappointed to not see any of her loved ones waiting for her as she made her jungle exit, and took to Twitter to slam her famous family for not supporting her.
But speaking to The Sun Online, a source explained: “James met Caitlyn when she came over the bridge.
“He sat with her for the entire leaving process – he asked to do it to make sure she had someone.”
