Charlie Stayt forced to break up royal experts in Meghan Markle clash ‘nonsense trope!’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV


“The Duchess of Sussex and Harry wanting to have a ‘progressive’ new royal court I think will come up at odds with the old system.” 

“It’s ridiculous of you to say ‘we don’t know the Queen didn’t know about this’ when courtiers have absolutely briefed the press that the Queen did so,” Anna remarked. 

‘No, no, no. What is ridiculous, is not to understand the media have been unduly harsh to Harry and Meghan and what is equally as ridiculous is to suggest because there is a set system and tradition, it is going to continue to work,” Shola commented.  

The two then continued to argue with one another, until Charlie ended the interview and said: “I really appreciate both of you and your thoughts, both clearly having different views but we’re happy to have you discussing them with our audience this morning.”
